Early Access to New Features: Beta Program

View Categories

The Debug Log Viewer Beta Program gives you early access to upcoming features, improvements, and bug fixes before they are released to all users.

Beta versions are typically published 1–2 weeks before a stable release. By joining the program, you can test new functionality sooner and help improve the plugin by reporting issues or sharing feedback.

Why Join the Beta Program?

Participating in the beta program allows you to:

  • Get access to new features before the official release.
  • Test improvements and workflow changes early.
  • Help identify bugs before they affect other users.
  • Influence future development through your feedback.

Many improvements in Debug Log Viewer are based directly on suggestions from users, and beta testers often get the first opportunity to evaluate new functionality.

Before You Join

Beta versions are tested before release, but they may still contain bugs, incomplete features, or unexpected behavior.

If your website is business-critical or runs in a production environment, consider testing beta releases on a staging or development site first.

How to Join the Beta Program

  1. Open Debug Log Viewer → Account in your WordPress admin area.
  2. Locate the Join the Beta program option on the Account page.
  3. Enable the checkbox to join the beta program.
  4. Allow a few hours for the change to propagate through the update system.

Once the enrollment is complete, future beta releases will be available through the standard WordPress update system whenever a new beta version is published.

Reporting Feedback

If you discover a bug, encounter unexpected behavior, or have suggestions for improvement, please contact support and include as much detail as possible.

Feedback from beta testers helps ensure that stable releases are reliable and thoroughly tested before they become available to all users.
